As I said, this year’s MET Gala had much ugliness going on. Ugly hair, ugly makeup, ugly tan. People really need to hire new makeup artists and stylists. This is saddd with a capital S.
Madonna in Louis Vuitton F/W 09: God bless Madonna and her unhinged insanity and desperation. I had assumed Victoria would be bringing the most laughs as usual but the trannish crone outclassed her in sheer comic genius.
Jessica Biel in Atelier Versace Haute Couture S/S 09: Jessica won the tacky queen of the night. Fake tan and red dress? She once again proved that some people just cannot dress, even if they have access to the best designers, make up artists, and stylists out there.
Blake Lively in Versace F/W 09: Putting all her goods on display as usual. This ain’t an auction dear.
Victoria Beckham in Marc Jacobs: Three words try …too … hard.
Anne Hathaway in Marc Jacobs F/W09: Compared with the rest, Anne’s look isn’t particularly bad. It’s just that I had expected a lot more from her. The hair and the dress would probably work on Beyonce.
Winona Ryder in Marc Jacobs F/W 07: It’s sad that her career is over and she still has no idea how to dress for an event like this.
Now I’m just interested to see what all the Park Avenue socialities and fashion editors worn.
