Bryce d’Anice Aime presented his S/S 2010 collection at Fashion Vauxhall on Saturday and it was packed! People had to stand on the ledges and were literally overlapping each other on the runway benches. The show was brilliant. I absolutely loved the collection which channelled a mix between 50’s Parisian chic and outer space futuristic body con structures. I guess there is something very interesting about Bryce’s work, edgy but unapologetically chic. Sadly the battery of my camera went dead when the show started. I will try to find some pictures from the show and post them ASAP. Yet I was lucky enough to sneak into the backstage and took some pictures before my camera stopped working. It was hectic. There were some last miniute sewing and fitting and the fact the room was boiling hot didn’t help. But they managed to ‘make it work’ and everything came out on the runway in perfection.
