Victoria’s Secret angel, Adriana Lima for Givenchy’s Autumn/Winter 09 campaign.
She looks VICIOUS! Her expression is Givenchy-perfect!

When Diane Kruger pairs with Chanel, nothing can go wrong (remember her sensational look at the Met Gala?) At a charity benefit in Cannes, Diane again looked flawless in a white Chanel Couture Spring 2009 ensemble. I love the square shouldered cropped jacket and the shaped skirt. The cute black bow is a sweet touch too. Diane revealed her second Chanel look at the ‘Inglourious Basterds’ photo call. She opted for a strapless vintage Chanel LBD, completed with black peep-toes. My favourite look so far. It’s so simple but elegant. Diane even extended her Chanel look to private time. Arriving at her hotel, Diane won a classic black and white Chanel jacket with a black belt. This is effortless chic at its best.

Natasha Poly attended the ‘Inglourious Basterds’ premiere in a black and grey gown from Roberto Cavalli S/S 09. Usually, I am not a fan of Roberto’s designs. Yet, Natasha is so stunning (look at those cheekbones!) that she made the look impeccable (even with the odd black detailing on the dress). Frankly, it was a pretty hard job to do. After all the premiere was all about Brangelina. But thanks to Natasha, Jolie didn’t get to rule the red carpet this time.

For me, Cannes Film Festival is never about the movies, it’s all about the red carpet fashion! This year’s Cannes didn’t disappoint. Rachel Weisz was an absolute vision at the premiere of ‘Agora’, wearing a green strapless ombre Valentino F/W 09 chiffon gown with a thigh high split. Green is definitely her colour and her silky brunette locks and gold themed accessories (from her earrings to her Christian Louboutin Satin d’ Orsay Pumps) finished off the look in perfection. She was million years away from her Met Gala disappointment. She had something to prove and didn’t let us down.

So Gossip Girl just aired its season finale – ‘Goodbye Gossip Girl’. Don’t worry, I won’t go to details about the plot developments as I genuinely don’t care (I still believe that both Vanessa and Dan should just jump off the Brooklyn Bridge). Well, I guess the only joy I had from the episode’s storyline is that Blair and Chuck finally got together (it’s about time).
Fashion-wise, the season finale did live up to expectations. Anyone who watches Gossip Girl knows that every episode is bound to be filled with Park Avenue princesses with outlandish (and fabulous) headbands. Blair, the Queen Bee of Constance wears hers proudly as her crown. In fact, no one wears headbands better than she does. Blair has single-handedly made them more alluring than ever. In this episode, Blair was undoubtedly potted in some exquisite headbands. Yet, the most fabulous one was actually worn by Jenny, the newly appointed Constance queen. Despite looking like a hot tranny mess, Jenny was given a gorgeous headband (hand-stitched with Swarovski crystals and retailed at $765) to continue Blair’s legacy. The master piece is from Jennifer Behr, the desinger whose collection has been seen in various episodes of the show. These four are the most remarkable ones.
P.S. I just came cross this site, What Chuck Wore. It’s a blog entirely devoted to the fashion stylings of the Chuck Bass. The premise is simple: screen shots accompanied by fictional commentary from Chuck. Genius.

Just days after Chanel released the Chanel No.5 film starring Audrey Tautou, not to be outdone, the house of Dior presents its short film – The Lady Noire Affair, directed by Oliver Dahan (La Vie en Rose) and starring Oscar-winning actress Marion Cotillard. Setting to promote the brand’s iconic Lady Dior handbag, the film adapts Hitchcockian traits into a six-and-a-half minute thriller and features gangsters, mystery, a heroine and the Eiffel Tower. With its big-screen quality production, the film certainly reflects the expensive refined taste of the Dior woman.
Just when you think that Michael Jackson has done shocking you all, he finds a new habit of cross-dressing. It started a few weeks ago when he wore a Balmain F/W 2009 black and silver embellished top. Even female celebs would find it hard to get their hands on pieces from this coveted collection, but then I guess the collection is actually inspired by 80s Michael Jackson, with crystal-studded jackets and disco mini-dress. I wondered what he would wear next. Well the answer is Givenchy. He was just spotted in a gold studded top, and jacket from the fashion house’s F/W 2007 collection. What’s more shocking is that he totally rocked these two looks.
